Los tiempos por vuelta de Fernando y que llumiaamablemente nos ha «ziguaceado». Esa bajada de tiempos en las vueltas finales con el blando es lo que volvió loco a Gasly (y a más de uno
) intentando comprenderlos.
Esa consistencia en los tiempos me recuerda a la tanda nocturna de Fernando en las 24 h de Le Mans.

Básicamente porque es una "warning", es decir una "llamada de atención", pero no lo es a ningún piloto ni a ningún equipo, lo es a un Sr. particular...(mente bocachanclas)
Y siguiendo con la "solidez" y "coherencia" del Masinútil y sus mariachis del centro de con troll, al Sr. aún más particular...(mente bocachanclas, el "HojoLince"), le han salido gratis decenas de casos peores
, y seguro que aún le quedan en el zurrón (al tiempo)

No me disgustó el circuito dentro de lo que cabe, y nos deparó una carrera entretenidilla, pero era basicamente esperar a la recta principal y las dos primeras curvas a ver "si pasaba algo" y vimos una carrusel de adelantamientos, gracias al drs, e intentonas fallidas (al intentar hacerlo por la parte exterior). Fuera de eso...poco mas.
A ver como va la cosa, tengo la sensación de que en Jeddah los Mercedes van a seguir siendo superiores y que en Yas Marina la cosa va a estar reñida a muerte con una clasificación que probablemente lo decida todo.

Añadiendo 4 líneas de código, para sumar a las telemetrías una gráfica con el "delta de tiempo", para poder observar dónde pierde tiempo un piloto con respecto a otro.
En este caso, se muestra dónde pierde tiempo MV con respecto a LH teniendo en cuenta las mejores vueltas de Clasificación de ambos pilotos:

La famosa "telemetría utópica"o lo que es lo mismo, cuánto le queda por bregar al equipo Alpine para llegar a la "cima".

C. Horner comenta que la gran pérdida con respecto al equipo Mercedes, se localizaba en la curva 6 (T6), donde perdían aproximadamente 2 décimas por vuelta. En la "telemetría" se puede observar (círculos o mejor dicho, óvalos)![]()
"I think there's one corner that's differentiated us all weekend and it's been Turn 6 ," Horner said about Losail's slowest corner, a tight left-hander.
"We lost two tenths a lap every lap from Friday to Sunday at that corner and I think that's one the things we need to go and understand and where we need to improve."
Más que en un sóla curva, observando la "telemetría" se ve que también perdían en las curvas T7 y T10, es decir, en general, en las curvas del sector S2 [rectángulos].
Esto coincide con las declaraciones de A. Shovlin después de la reunión para el análisis de la carrera, donde comenta, que aunque en Brasil donde marcaron la diferencia fue en los tramos "rectos", en el GP Qatar, ha sido en las curvas:
"In some recent tracks we've been matching Red Bull in the corners and extracting a benefit in the straight-line but in Qatar it ended up being the opposite," the Mercedes director of trackside engineering said in the team's post-race debrief.
"We were matching them in the straight line and finding all our time in the corners.
"Where does that time come from? Well, really there are two areas. One is the downforce that you can get on the car and clearly, our package was working quite well there, helping us generate a lot of apex speed.
En esta "telemetría, se observa esa mayor velocidad de paso por curva '[apex speed'] por parte de LH:
"But then also you've got the balance of the car and that's the thing that we tune with the mechanical settings, the springs and bars, also the front wing.
"Our drivers had a balance they were very happy with, they had stability on the way in, they could attack the corner, carry speed and ultimately you saw the demonstration of that with that fantastic lap from Lewis for pole position."

It was full of traffic but who had the edge in #FP2 at the #QatarGP #Bottas set the standard topping the timesheets with a healthy margin to #Verstappen. The Finn was faster all round though Max didn't have the cleanest of laps.

@PierreGASLY did his best Lightning McQueen impression going P2 during #FP2 at the #QatarGP . Compared to #Verstappen, #Gasly lost out in most of the corners but recovered the time on the power sections. All signs point to Gasly going full gas with the PU.
