    más que debilidades... ... son las sempiternas dudas filosóficas de elegir el nivel correcto carga aero y drag.
    Luego, equilibrarlo delante sin reventarlo detrás.
    Y todo ello ha de estar en su justo nivel para que las gomas funcionen.

    No se dónde ven las dificultades.

    Con la complicación que va teniendo la parte más importante del rendimiento global del coche, a excepción de la U.P. y del diseño global aerodinámico... ... es decir, de las gomas ... ...

    Si la reducción de los famosos 0.8mm les está volviendo medio locos a la mayoría... ... las van a necesitar para ajustar el setup a las temperaturas necesarias... ...

    Aunque si ponen las dos sesiones por la tarde, dudo que sean de 90 mitutos cada una......

    Y para el 2021, puede que alguno necesite 5 F.P. ... ... (de 20 minutos )

    90% of the grid want tyres to be changed. Yes however, Mercedes supply two teams (Williams, Racing Point) who have been VERY compliant in the past.

    Merc only need one more team to vote against a change, perhaps one who’s performing on current tyres (aka McLaren) to win the vote.

    Ferrari & Red Bull are leading a group of teams trying to convince Pirelli to go back to tyres with a thicker tread as quickly as possible. Arguing the new thinner tread tyres are bad for the show.

    Parece que la reciente aventura americana ha pasado factura. Todos estarían mejor callados. Hasta ahora, los focos se centraban en el auto o en el equipo/muro (paradas en boxes, estrategias, etc...), en el pasado GP ya se han situado en los pilotos, que en la sesión de clasificación fallaron estrepitosamente, condicionando la carrera, incluso en el caso de Lando, sus malas arrancadas, le condicionan frecuentemente y no es la primera vez. Queda mucha temporada, defender esa 4ª posición en el WCC se está poniendo difícil y yo que Zak, no "fardaría" mucho de pilotos, por mucha confianza que les quiera insuflar.

    Una traducción "rápida" gracias a dos participantes del foro de Autosport:

    - Ferrari start to analyse why they were slower than Mercedes, and it was clear for them after the Chinese GP and they've got confirmation of theirs problems at Barcelona.

    - For Bahreïn GP, it was just Mercedes slower relative to the competition, more that Ferrari much faster

    - They didn't changed the car since Barcelona

    - The problem it's the car did not fit the 2019 Pirelli tyres. Ferrari is exactly where they were expecting to be relative to the competition after winter testing. Only Mercedes is much quicker.

    - About the difference of pace between Barcelona Winter Testing and the race, it's because they developed the car in the wrong direction. Between WT and the first race they misdjuge the car limitations and weakness

    - This car have very good aero efficiency but not very good peak DF. The last two cars had good zero efficiency but it's not working anymore with 2019 tyres. They have difficulties to warm up the tyres and keep them in the right windows.

    - Why they didn't saw it in Abu Dhabi last year and during WT : At Abu Dhabi it was really hot so tyres warm up was not a problem.

    For Barcelona, the car was so good that it's has masked the tyres weakness of the car. They knew they were not good on the tyres but for them it was not the biggest problems because they were faster than others.

    - Everyone have tyres warm up problems, at Monaco Hamilton need 5 laps attempts before taking pole position.

    - Ferrari want the return to the old tyres, for the show, because there is no tyres deg anymore and race is only 1 stop.

    - Improvement : it will be long. They will change the concept of the car, but it will be not be a B version.
    They will have to put more DF on it so more drag.

    - It will take 2 or 3 upgrades before fighting Mercedes everywhere.

    - They are not ruling out the WDC campaign.

    - He cant say why Mercedes wasnt already dominant in testing of course, but he suspects that their performances in the first races came even for Mercedes as a surprise. Ferrari showed their hand in testing.

    - The error analysis was completed at the end of may.

    - He doesnt seem to think that Mercedes necessarly will have an advantage for the next years thanks to their current dominance. Even if Ferrari is investing now a lot of time to solve the issues for the current car it has no negative impact on the next years car, since they would have optimized the current car anyways. It's just making it a little tougher.

    - The recent structure changes in the team are unrelated to the current performance. It was already planned since he took over, since his new role would have required changes.

    - He defends his strategy department, saying that in hindsight it's always easy to say and everyone has different opinions. It usually balances out over the course of the season.

    - He isnt worried about a McLaren 1989 or 2007-like situation, both drivers are teamplayers. He declared Vettel as the number 1 before the season in order to give clarity. To back Vettel and to take the pressure off Leclerc.
